The mood was tense because Stormtroopers surrounded the place.
Nevertheless, the strangers quietly approached the smuggler they were
looking for and sat down. Moments later, they asked, "We are looking
for transport to the Alderon System." Fools I thought, the Alderon
system was blown to bits long ago...
"Why the heck would you want to go there now? There's nothing there but a hokey old Asteroid field," I asked. "Let's just say we would like to use a new device - one that will enable us to jump back in time a bit, and rescue some Alderon hotties just before Imperial Entanglements blew it to bits," they replied. "So we are looking for an Artship."
"Artship!? Well, have you ever heard of the K'Sieggii Ship Killer, or the Apanok Recon Fighter? I've outrun the local Fralthi Attack Carriers - not the big Torrellian Ships mind you, but I think she's fast enough for you old man."

"We can pay you two thousand now, and the rest when we reach Alderon," they said. This sounded like a sweet deal for me. It's not the best kind of job, but it's paying work. "If you throw in a hottie for me, from your little rescue mission - then you've got yourself an Artship!"
I don't know if you've ever heard of the 'Spam Wars", but Starship Scratcher is proud to introduce the work of John Douglass, scratch builder of Artships.com. Check out his work, and may the inspiration be with you."
